The Contract for the supply of dredgers was signed on the 8th,June,1999 by and between Directorate of Water Resource and Improvement of Rivers and streams (DWIR).Ministry of Transpore,Myanmar and UREC. This waterway dredging project developed the new epoch for china to export specian vessel to Myanmar. Under the contract. three kinds of dredging equipment and auxiliaries provided separately were Backhoe Dredger with 1.6m3 Bucket volume. 25m side Trailing Suction Dredger and Hopper-side Cast-Grab Dredge,The three dredgers have been formally put into operation on 21 st June.2001.all the dredgers have been in a good condition. And are functioning normally all along.This dredging project has played a positive and important role in waterway dredging and silt removing for Myanmar Government.
